The paper of China's African Policy indicates that China's policy towards Africa is coming to its maturity.Since the reform and opening to the outside world,China's African policy has been affected by the strategic decisions of the new era.It has gradually completed three transformations:from emphasizing the ideology to weakening it;from uni-area exchanges to the multi-area;from stressing economic aid to highlighting mutual benefit.China's African policy is now facing four inconsistencies, that is:the inconsistency between China's national interests and the interests of Chinese enterprises in Africa, the inconsistency between Chinese enterprises and African enterprises, the inconsistency between China's interests in Africa and the western powers' interests in Africa and the inconsistency between the strategic interests of China's energy resources and the issue of sustainable development.By solving these problems,China can make the image of a responsible power in the world.Published: 08 2006Typ: journalArticleISSN:
